Play Sports Party Bingo
1. PRINT THE BINGO GAME CARDS - THEY ARE FREE
At any time before or during the TV sporting event, the party host visits sportspartybingo.com and prints a set of game cards using their own printer with standard printer paper. Bingo card sets are made by selecting the sport (baseball, basketball, football or soccer) and specifying the names of the teams playing. Up to 500 unique game cards can be produced and printed at one time. (Now, that's a big party!) One bingo card is printed per sheet of printer paper.

2. DISPLAY A PRIZE, DISTRIBUTE THE CARDS AND PLAY
Add to the excitement by providing a prize for each game winner. After the TV sporting event starts, the party host picks an appropriate time to introduce the game, show them the prize (or a set of wrapped prizes, white-elephant style) and distribute game cards and markers to your friends. |
Tip: Make sure to prominently display and emphasize the prize so that the stage is set for fun competition. |
3. FACILITATE THE BINGO GAME
As the bingo game proceeds, the party host should remain accessible to assist when issues arise during the game. The most common issues that occur are: |
Tip: If you have the ability to briefly pause the broadcast via a remote control, use this when introducing a game, when facilitating issues that occur during game play, and when someone shouts "Bingo!" |
- Helping someone understand the meaning of a card square
- Deciding whether or not a marked square is valid
- Determining how close the game is to having a winner by occasionally asking your friends as a group, “How many of you have one square remaining?”, “How many of you have two squares remaining?”, etc.
- Somebody shouts "Bingo!" and the winning card needs to be verified in front of the other players and the prize is then presented.
4. PLAYER WITH A WINNING BINGO CARD WINS THE PRIZE
Eventually someone marks five squares in a row and shouts “Bingo!” At that time, the party host stands alongside that person and verifies the winning bingo card by reading each marked square aloud, one at a time, so that the other players can verify whether or not they agree with each marked square. |
Tip: This process works best by engaging the verification assistance of the many other friends who have also marked the same squares on their own cards. |
When the winning card is confirmed the game ends and the host presents the prize to the winner (or lets them pick from a stack of wrapped presents, white-elephant style) in front of the entire group of players.

Tip: Washable markers are recommended because marker pens are often laid down on furniture during game play. Also, if you do not have enough marker pens, people can share or use their own personal pens (e.g., a pen from their purse) as needed. |
